1) A health certificate in English signed by a full-time authorized veterinary official of the government of the exporting country stating:-
1.1)
type of portions and package of the ratite meat, 2)
The farm (s) or premises of origin have been free from Newcastle Disease,
Avian Influenza, Tuberculosis, Anthrax, Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever,
Aspergillosis, Equine Encephalitis, Colibacillosis and Salmonellosis i.e.
Salmonella enteritidis and S.typhimurium are included, during the past
12 (twelve) months preceding the slaughter of the ratite animals and until
the time of export. 3) The ratite animals are born and reared in the country of origin OR have been in the country of origin for not less than 14 (fourteen) months prior to slaughter and must come from the government of exporting and importing countries approved farm (s). 4) The ratite animals have received ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection, and found to be free from infectious and contagious diseases. 5) The ratite meat have been processed in a designated establishment, approved for export to Thailand, in sanitary manner under the supervision of a full-time veterinary official appointed by the government of the exporting country. Every precaution has been taken to prevent any contamination during the manufacturing, packaging, storage and until the time of export. 6) The ratite meat do not contain preservatives, additives or any substances posing a harmful risk to human health. 7) The ratite meat have been sampled to tests for food microorganisms as well as drug and pesticide residues and that they are corresponding to the tolerance limits any of which set by National and /or International Standards such as the Codex Alimentarius. 8) The ratite meat shall bear a health mark or meat inspection legend, in any form of a label, seal or stamp for recognition that the meat themselves have been produced in accordance with standards which are acceptable to Thailand. 9) The ratite meat shall not be transhipped at any intermediate port. 10) The ratite meat are subjected to inspection/detention for laboratory testing upon arrival in Thailand. The owner/importer shall be fully charged for incurred expenses. 11) Failure to follow the import procedures may result in returning the ratite meat to the country of origin or destroying without compensation.
